I need a suspension part
I'm changing the front shocks on my 84sa and upon
inspecting the current running gear, the protective
tube has broken and is in pieces inside the spring!
I don't know how important the part is. I unfortunately
have not been able to find a replacement.
How important is it and where might I be able to buy
a replacement part. Thanks in advance, Donovan.

I had a broken one on my car when I bought it. I got a new one from 928 Specialists. I'm sure any of the big 3 will have them. Part # 928 343 507 02 or 928 343 507 03 depending on your VIN #. > 92ES860322 uses the latter part #. It helps keep dirt and grime away from the shaft seal.
