Default '87 S4 - stumbled then stalled

Hey Sharks,

Took the kiddos to park yesterday and on the way home i turned the fan on (no AC button) the car stumbled a bit when i hit about 20mph after a stop sign. Car did fine for while, through more stop signs and lights. However, when i pulled into my neighborhood, the car stalled (dash lights on, coasting). I stopped the car, turned everything off, and she started right up and I drove home. Once at the house, sitting in drive way, the AC worked fine...

Could this be related to the CP sensor? Or TPS.
Thoughts?

Michael

before you ask the could this be related to question,
you need to tell what services have been performed on the engine and CE panel and battery.

IE has an intake refresh been done? this would include swapping in a new CPS, TPS, ICV ,and knock and Cam sensors
Has a CE panel cleaning been done?
Have the 3 running relays been swapped out for fresh 53 relays?
Have the electrical system and battery connections been cleaned?

Thanks Mrmerlin and Don.

I'll start with the panel and order new relays from Roger tomorrow and start replacing. I may even replace all the fuses...why not.

A few wks ago I cleaned the battery cables including the ground strap. I've cleaned most of the grounds, but haven't hit the ones near the fuse box, under the steering wheel or under the car.

I drove 18miles or so without the ac blower on. She shuddered once (with quick warning light) in mile 2 or so.

Thanks again! I love this forum!
