Very nice Hellzbronze metallic with dark brown leather interior with original radio. VIN check shows 40% LSD. Too bad I already have a car in same color or else I will be tempted to go further myself.
Check this out. Ad out last night...

Nice car, nice price, LSD 5 spd, I love Chocolate interiors as well. Ed - you going in on this?
I started hunting about four years ago and even nice cars would "linger" out there for months. Lots of time to really talk with owners, compare with other cars, schedule PPI's, etc. Then I noticed '78-79's drying up, even parts cars. Both Nice cars and ratty ones sold 20 min into a CL listing. And GT and GTS cars doubling at the high end. S4 cars creeping up, 5sp's especially. Now even the '80-84 US cars - (what I used to call 'low point' cars due to smog/economy gearing/low power) are getting snapped up, and cars like this one and the Kiln Red car last week with 5 spd and LSD in decent condition getting 'hot' as well. There is now no time to do due diligence. Jump on it or lose out. Don't know if that's a good or bad thing. Good if you are selling, I guess, but bad if you are in the hunt. In my hunt I've only been burned once, so I guess that's a decent track record.
