The driver's seat piping on my right hand drive '91 S4 is starting to wear and as it's purple on black leather probably won't be the easiest or cheapest to repair, so I'm thinking of getting a decent seat cover to protect it for a while until I complete a few other things I want to do to the car. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good car seat cover for the 928 front seat that actually looks okay? Everything I've seen looks terrible as the headrest is so narrow.

You might want to try the Neoprene Seat Covers. They are custom fit and are water proof. It cost around $175-$279..
