Was it in MA? Black 85 with 5 speed? I didn't read it, so don't know. That name is not on the title, and not the guy I met.

Doc arrived last night in the new to him 928. Yes it has issues but a really good car overall. Black on black with lots of leather and a ****box manual with LSD - does not get much better at the price he paid for it. Trunk load of new parts and fitted with $600 worth of H4 headlights.
Doc could fall into a pile of pig s**t and still come up smelling of roses.

Drove from Boston to Double Oak with very little in the way of issues - way to go Doc.

Wait until he finishes the project.

Chief, you didn't call me about the door/fender request. Laura left you a msg to call me. Both body men asked if I could get a right rear fender and right door. If the fender on that red chassis is good, I can come over with a sawzall and make it mine.

Yes, in MA. Passenger side quarter panel was crunched above the fender, quarter window missing. There was other damage along the passenger side front fender/door. He had a link to a Flickr photo album of the car - looks like those pages have been removed as well.

Looked like an interesting project, for someone with the skills. I'm happy to see it has found that person.

Yup, that's my new ride. I'm finding more interesting stuff all the time. It appears to have the sport shocks under it too. So, $2k for a running, driving, stopping car. It has H4 lamps up front, porkensioner, 5 speed, LSD, and sport shocks. Will have new right rear wheel bearing soon, new rear brakes, and some other bits as needed. Should be a nice driver in a few months.
