I just re-upped for year two of mine this week. My primary reasons are:

1. I get a lot of value out of this board. Without it, I doubt I'd be able to maintain my '82 to a level that would make it last a long time, and I sure wouldn't be able to do all the little things to it that I am. I have zero issue paying money for something that has value, and that fits the bill here.

2. +928^2 on the pictures. I try to document any / all of the dumb things that I ask to make determination of answers easier, and for the help of anyone else in the future that might look to ask the same dumb question. It's maddening when I search on an old post that I think will have answers to a question, only to find that all the pics are giant question marks or photobucket placeholders.

Default ?really

Thank you Dr. Bob. That was a very lucid answer and a worthwhile utilization of bytes. With all the typing that went into this tread, I received no answer to the question of anyone's possible need of a 84 exhaust.

I believe, technically you must have a paid membership to advertise items for sale, which must include an asking price., but don't quote me on that, as I haven't read the new member guideline thread yet either.

the stock 84 exhaust has little or no value....just how it is...that may change in the future as correct stock garners a premium for those more interested in collecting than driving....

i'm surprised no one mentioned the hazing - you must replace the driver side lock mechanism with one hand tied behind your back

Default Again, thanks

Thank you JAMES BAILEY. I will put it in the rafters and hopefully remember that I have one when someone makes and inquiry WHEN I BECOME A MEMBER. I didn't actually push to sell it, but asked about the possibility of a swap as well. Because of the rapid tangent the thread went on, who can answer my last original question WITHOUT going back to the Original Post? How sharp are the quick wits out there? Let's be honest, now...

The answer is YES Walt. You check the timing on an 84 at 3000 RPM.
