Default 1990 s4 speedometer question

Hi have a small problem with local car requirements here in Northern Ireland speedometers must be dual marked in mph and kph
Mine only has mph on face
Questions are
Can I get the little computer display to show kph ??
Or is there a signal I can tap into to hook up a seperate kph speedo just for the testing ?
Cheers
Johnny

U.S delivered cars have the capability of displaying metric units on the digital display. Pull the control lever twice within one second to change the display to metric units. This may or may not work on your car, there is a note in the owners manual stating that this function is for US specified cars only.

Sorry, can't help you with that one but there are others here who can. I suggest that you start a new thread using rear fog light in the subject line as this question is buried in the speedometer thread.

The wiring is most likely there and the rear fog light switch connector is taped up inside the instrument pod. The big physical difference is that the USA car has a 1156 bulb socket (single filament) whereas the ROW car uses a 1157 socket for the fog light position, so you would need either a ROW tail light harness with the correct bulb sockets, or you can trace the fog light wiring from the instrument pod and then change out the bulb socket with one of the Nissan Quest 1157 sockets.
Look at the wiring diagram for the ROW lights and it becomes clear.

Cheers!
Carl
