Does any one know what the base color of the bumpers were before they were painted?

Here are some pictures of the one I used to modify the license plate recess. I ground the paint off down to the original polyurathane(sp) and then I used some flexible filler. I never painted this cover, so you ought to be able to pick out the basic color. Looks like gray to me. The first pictures have the original silver paint on it still, but look at the cut edges.

Mine was (GTS rear cover) a medium shade of grey straight from Porsche. The older S4 bumper cover when bead blasted was a slightly darker grey but it was a different material mix and thickness than later GTS covers.
