Default Trunk missing a few things

I had alittle time today so I decided to clean out and inspect the trunk. There was what seems to have been some black foam padding that was deteriorated under the carpet back there, a lot of it was stuck to the floor so I got a brush and vaccumm out to get as much off as possible. It also seems like it's missing some kind of base paneling as there is an empty space to the left and the carpet just sinks. Can you guys tell me exactly what I am missing back there?

Spare wheel collapsible version. Plastic cover clear with the black foam on the back. Carpeted tool kit for below the rear lid and tools .... Roger has reproduction hatch receiver inner liners otherwise you have to buy the assembly.

But looks like you got a shop vac. not standard with the 928

Thanks James, I actually have the tool kit/cover in the garage. I took it off to inspect what was behind it. I don't see a jack in there either, gotta get a list together and start looking for missing pieces.

Jerry Feather makes a repro spare tire cover.
Mark Anderson would have the tool tray (that's the part that covers up the back of the hatch area)
Rob Budd has carpeting.

The spare tire, compressor, gloves (really), jack and tool kit can be...

Challenging to find. Mark A has some of them, sometimes.

But at least you have the build stickers. A lot of cars are missing those.

Jerry's cover is good. Rob Budd has great foam for that section and the lid. The rug there is usually pretty tired by now. Google "slippery slope" and "replacing just one section of 928 rug" for full guidance on that part. Rob has the foam for the floors in cabin too.

I have both and very satisfied.

Jerry's cover is way stronger and better than the original one which is made of corrugated plastic.

Here's what Jerry's cover looks like.

Thanks Guys for the plugs on my Spare Tire Cover. Here is a picture of one. I am rebuilding the forms right now, but I could probably make one tomorrow if you are ready for one. They are $90 plus $20 for S&H to domestic addresses. I send them by Priority Mail.

I can also give two thumbs up for Jerry's spare tire cover.
