So last time I saw the 928 was 18 months ago when I dropped by to start and warm up to temperature. Today I went to the now X's house to pick her up. Last time I did not start for four months I had all kinds of trouble with flooding.
Maintainer was still attached and working so that was a good start, pulled the fuel pump relay and cranked till I had oil pressure. Put the fuse back in and vrooom, garage is heated so the old gas was still ok I guess.
Thought, well seeing as I still have two hours left might as well change the oil, good job I did not drain first though as no store had anything suitable. How things change in a couple of years.
Oh well, put some air in the tires and drove the 10miles to my place with daughter following ... just incase. No problem except for vibration from the not so round tires ... oh and first stop was for fresh gas.
Glad to see you got it over to your new place.... We should have a 928 gathering in Spokane to commemorate our long past track days....(but I still have to do my rear bearings LOL)...life really does get in the way sometimes....
