did you cap off the air injection ports to the heads? when you removed the air pump?

Yep, got the caps from Roger. I put them in as soon as I pulled the air pump stuff.

I did order the Innovate MTX-L. Where about did you have the bung welded in?

Now my water pump is leaking I have a hard time thinking that was causing the thumping but I kind of hope it was!

I've got the car back up on the lift bars so I can get back under it to see if something is bouncing before I pull the WP again. I am starting to think that might be the cause of the noise inside the car. The fuel line pulsing isn't hard enough to be heard inside the vehicle but it is felt in the hard lines under the car.

I mounted the bung in the y, to read both sides. I really think that thumping is the line hitting something, only real thing it could be. Under running conditions it's smacking something as he rails discharge fuel.
