Don't forget the nose Bra - full or hood only, along with the mirror Bras.

Take all your window trim(s) and have them chrome plated, I prefer black chrome. I'm also going to have my wiper arms done in black chrome.

I did a search and couldn't find any good pictures of a 7" vs 8" lighted car. Can anyone help us out on a before and after picture? Or, maybe Shane could give us a good front on view of the two options on his cars. Up and down Shane if not too much trouble. TIA

A Playboy Playmate in the passenger seat would do wonders.

Will see you at Billabong's tonight for some

Don, Um.. yeah. I'm married ya know, but my wife lets me have mistresses, as long as they have V8 engines. See ya tonight under the hammerhead - Ruf

Noel,

Bright yellow can't hurt in the "turning heads" department...

And Flint, I do not have a front spoiler.

I liked the pointy nose better.
So I filled the mountiing holes on the sides.
I still have to decide if I want to do something with my brake ducts,
like cut off the bottom section...
Eventually I plan on a body kit, but I still wish there was a cheap
alternative to the stock front spoiler. Something smooth, and could be
painted... Something that is not as low as the stock spoiler,
and does not look "tacked on". That is what I do not like about
the stock spoiler. It looks like it is tacked on... A fiberglass piece,
about 1-2 inches wide, that fills the gap under the "mouth" ot the
radiator inlet, goes under each brake duct, and does not go up
the sides of the car... That would be ideal... Maybe I will photoshop
one for you guys to look at later tonight after work. Unless someone
wants to go ahead and have some fun...

Looks good with just the brake ducts, maybe small grilles to match the pseudo one at the bottom of the front bumper would make it subler (and kind of mimic the newer turbos)

Ok, here is the idea of what I was talking about.

Just a little fiberglass piece that would replace the front spoiler,
and integrate with the car, instead of looking tacked-on.

Something not so low, that it gets bashed all the time...

I also did a quick little test of slapping on some aftermarket PES headlights for a Ford Focus...

Default front spoiler

here is a tiny pic i found of an interesting front spoiler. i quite like the 's' spoiler except the bits that ride up the wheel arches and so i am contemplating a complete fibre glass front with more curves and smaller driving/fog lights to replace it.

i definitely think the best thing to do with these cars is update the wheels. have two of them if you can afford it, one of the earlier and one of the later shapes.

You could not have said it any better!

I find it really hard to "improve" the looks of design classics like the 928. Most of what you can do just makes it "different", but not necessarily better.

I'd like some subtle refinements on my S4, like the top of the tail lights tinted dark grey, or clear front turn signal and side marker lenses. And I'd love to have the projection lights as they were shown on the 1084 928-4 - the 4-Seater that was Ferry Porsche's B'day present that year.

drnick - I think that fellow said he used an Escort spoiler!

Nicole - I was looking the other day on eBay, and there are high/low HID projector housings all over the place.

eBay|Search: Hella Projector

Just need to put some of these...

in a suitable housing...

I wonder if Spyderwerks would sell just the housing or light system?

That blue car is exactly the idea.

I would like to have a spoiler like that,
instead of the stock spoiler. I prefer not having
those winglets on the sides either...

Cool

there is a lot of talk about removing the stock mirrors...any one have a good passenger side mirror that will fit on my 81'. Getting ready for a repaint so color is not an issue.
