I have PET2 and it runs great on any 64 bit OS and $150 is way to high... You don't need virtual box and it installs directly and runs fine.

I am running PET2 8.0 update 548/154 on Window 7.
About to move to a new Windows 10 computer so hope it makes the update OK

PET2 running native in Win 10/64. The only issue is that it is stuck at update 542 and says it's out of date. I think it's good for either 60 or 90 days then you get to reinstall again. No biggie.
