I have noticed a large number of Facebook posts from 928 owners trying to get advice on how to fix their sharks. It appears many of them don't know about Rennlist. I have been trying to steer them here as most, if not all, of their questions have been asked and answered on Rennlist. Facebook doesn't lend itself well to trying to help someone with their car due to the linear time format with no search. I unfollowed all the groups because I didn't want to keep telling people to come over to Rennlist over and over again when I have seen the same questions answered here.

Some people love Facebook "group" efforts, but that forums. To each their own. I key to steer them here as well, but in they end its on them. I don't get stressed about it. I just do what I can to help

I try to steer them here too, but it is easy to keep up and update events and the like on facebook.

Plus more people are active over there so it makes for perfect recruitment grounds for Rennlist

Some people prefer the exclusive advice. However, I feel the best advice is offered here with various users offering their own unique recommendations. This is how we enthusiasts shaped Rennlist afterall.

Faceplant = spam.

The only reason I'm on it is the local PCA uses it.

Yup, I tend to use it with local and limited audience in mind.
For me, Rennlist is the place for heavy technical searches or answers with wide dissemination.

I don't like to us FB and would rather be on a forum, anyways. In fact, another car I own, it's kinda the same. There's a FB w/ 100 members, or the forum w/ a little over 300. The forum though, is known as the better place...

Now, if the Cayenne Forum here could just help like the 928 shark tankers:

^^^ Shameless plug, or plea for help TIA
