Does anyone know this Black 928 S4 listed on eBay in Indianapolis?
Seems like a nice car, just trying to learn more about the history.
I'm considering replacing my 968 for a car I've loved since I rode in one with a guy I knew who used to sell them.

It's Todd Johnson's.
He knows his 928s.
It "sold" last week for $35k.
Been re-listed. Probably for non payment.

Todd is a 928 "enthusiast" very enthusiastic about selling them....good at "staging" them by doing typical used car reconditioning, touch up and buying the missing tools, books etc. Has bought and sold many over the years. Claims to do a service for all 928 owners by pushing prices higher.....while of course buying them for lower.....
Avoids being required to have a dealers license by setting up serial LLCs through which he sells a few cars in each before setting up another. Indiana DMV states that if you sell more than like six cars a year you are by default a professional dealer and much register as such with all the fees, records, licenses etc.
Just means you are getting a car from a "dealer" not from a long time owner with first hand knowledge of how and where it was serviced and taken care of.....it will probably never ever LOOK as good again as it does in the pictures. Again basic used car 101 shine it up, armor-all it ,remove any and all personal touches and write a good add with good photos..... capitalism at it's best.

I just contacted Todd about this car through his ebay listing.
TB & WP done 21k miles and 8 years ago. So budget for that.
Service history is supposedly on its way from the previous owner.
Seems like strong money for a car that's going to need money for deferred maintenance.
IMHO, at this price the TB & WP should be already done for the new owner.
