Salty Pelican 5:30
928'rs: Meet 5:30 pm Fri at: "The Salty Pelican" 12 North Front Street, Fernandina Beach for dinner. http://www.thesaltypelicanamelia.com
Best to get there a bit earlier as Carl and Trey suggest to avoid long lines. Gonna be a busy weekend here. T

I'll be there the next three days. Going to the Goodings auction tomorrow to see the Jerry Seinfeld Porsches sell. Goodings is always a fun auction in person. Saturday I'll have my 968 Cab in the Cars and Coffee at the Concours for the third year(two years ago I also had my '85 928 in as well). Then on Sunday I'll be a Class Host again for the Concours; This year its the NASCAR class in the afternoon. A weekend I look forward to every year!

A big thank you to everyone that showed up for dinner last night. It was a pleasure to meet all of you and to be able to put a face with the name
Hope to see more of the 928 owners at "Cars and coffee" today, the weather should stay mostly dry.
Cheers!
Carl

Great to meet up with some fellow 928's for dinner last night. Lou brought his beautiful 85 Garnet Red, Euro 16V, 5spd over to Carl's house-what a car. Cars & Coffee today at Amelia Island and snapped off a few pics. Unfortunately no 928's represented this year. T

We made it out for the Cars and Coffee. Was a really nice selection of cars and I think if 944s can be "shown" at Cars & Coffee that hopefully 928s will be next year, too!
My favorite car, from a sentimentality perspective, is the one below....
I owned a 1976 912e EXACTLY LIKE this one when I was 20 years old (a little more than 20 years ago ). I had $5,300 in my bank account and the owner wanted $5,000
Porsche Fever set in quickly!

It was a truly great weekend, as usual the best part of the weekend was meeting and hanging out with the 928 people! So many great fantastic cars , but simply not enough time to see and do it all ,sensory overload !! I really enjoyed meeting Carl, Tony, George, Andrew and all the others. Carl's 928 is going to be really special when finished!
I am really going to try and make it to the Hershey swap meet, and Spring Fling in Tx. - on my bucket list! Can't wait for next year's Amelia Concourse!

Super nice gent offered Carl's daughter some seat time in a beautiful Lambo Miura and she took it. Looks like she will be shopping for one in a few years judging by her expression. Hans Stuck's F1 car along with some others. Great event and a chance to meet up with other 928's. T
