German FTE Clutch MC cross reference
Hello Rennlisters,
I needed a quick clutch master cylinder for my '86.5, and sourced one locally for 85$. I think that compares with the vendors, whom I usually prefer to buy from, but for me time was of the esssence (or so I thought, life proved otherwise, but still...). OE from a local Porsche shop was 250$!!!!! I feel a lot better with this than some chinese thingy from autozone/et al.
I bought it locally in Denver, CO, USA from
Western Automotive (used to be IPW)
501 Kalamath St
(303) 825-2000
FTE Number:
KG19070.1.6
Porsche Number:
928 423 173 06

That is what we supply - either FTE or *** - so you are good to go.
