Loud starter?
The starter on my kids 85 seems...loud, comapred to my 87.
No wrong sounds in it, just..its louder.
Starter differences, wear..anything to concern about?

^^Foam.
No..just LOUD from outside the car..nothing screaming 'broken'...and esp from under the hood.
Dunno..but way down on the street, wakes me up when she starts it...its loud(er).

There is a small strip of foam on the bell housing that seals the gap between the starter and the housing. If the strip is missing the starter will sound louder.
