OB Aux cooling fan temperature switch size
I pilled the aux cooling fan when I did the Ford Contour electric cooling fan modification.
I am looking to upgrade my cooling fan controller and wanted to leverage the opening for the existing 185 deg aux fan temp switch.
Anyone know the size/ thread pitch for the radiator opening.

M22x1.5 . There are many switches that will fit. Some VW units have 2 circuits embedded.

If you know when the electric fan is running, I found the lag between the temp coming down and fan going off annoying, worrying, so I fitted an adapter with the switch in the top hose.
