....or David Bowie.
I associate both the car and the man with my formative years....seems fitting that the same words describe both.

Interesting observation. Thank you for leaving out "androgynous". You might have included "other-worldly".
Gosh, that was an interesting time, with gigantic creative voids available to be filled. Bowie jumped in with both feet, as did the 928 designers. Are there any voids left? In car design, or otherwise?
