Default throttle housing mounts broke

so today, i removed the intake spider thing, and replaced all the vacuum lines that run under it.. while i was inthere , there were a couple issues i came across... new to the porsche scene i figured i would post here... i came across a bolt that had 2 vacuum lines going into it on the passengers rear side of the engine valley...
i removed it and came to the conclusion its just an elbow, since the nipples are broke can i just link the 2 hoses together and not use the bolt for vacuum?

and the throttle housing has 3 mounts to hold it down.. all 3 are broke... what is the best way to go about this...
and in the final pic i have a canister on the passengers side towards the front of the engine bay, what is it and where does the big black hose going out the bottom of it go? as i have to replace that hose.

throttle housing broken stud, all 3 broke

screw with broken nipples by my thumb

Howdy,

First, can you tell us the year we are dealing with here?

The 'bolt' you are talking about is actually a sensor/valve. I am trying to remember exactly what it is for but I believe it turns on/off the fuel tank vent based on temp.

The 3 mounts for the intake are basically bolts bonded to a rubber disc. To get the old ones out of the block, you need to spray some penetrating oil and then you should be able to grab the metal disc with pliers and unscrew them. Replacements are available from the usual suspects.

Not sure what the last pic shows.. By your description it could be the AC receiver/dryer.

Best of luck.

Try:
928 Specialists, (http://www.928gt.com/p-396-air-guide...unt-77-86.aspx)
928 International
928's RUs
(in no particular order)

I am only guessing that this is the correct part number for your car. (928 110 191 00)

They're called bonded rubber buffers, part number 999 703 261 00 or 928 110 191 00 (same thing).

Here's one vendor that sells them.

I know that Roger at 928sRUs sells them too as I have bought them from him as well.

If you had called Roger* and asked for the "rubber thingy that attaches the throttle body to the top of the motor", he would have known what you meant, recited the part number from memory and had them in the mail to you before the end of the day.

One of the truly wonderful benefits of having vendors who love the cars as much as we do.

*Note: I use "Roger" as the example, but any of the "usual suspects" would likely have known what you wanted.
