Thanks for posting/sharing. Interesting article, and also interesting to see the speculation of a mid-engined Corvette rumored, again back then.

I like the very last sentence. "it will become the standard by which other sports cars are judged for at least the next decade"......better make that four decades almost.

Good read, and now confirms my beliefs...that my 78 is an important part of automotive history. And makes me want turn it into something truly grand.
