trust me on this. buy a renegade hybrids conversion kit and a turn key 350 V8. You will save money down the road and get more performance out of your car. good luck
Hello JeseZipper. Good to hear from you. I'm also in a similar position (but the car's been sitting for more like 5 years). I'd be more than happy to share notes (which the whole forum will too I'm sure). After redoing the fluids and the electrics have you thought about what you will attack next?
Welcome! From a relative newcomer myself, not just to 928s but to all auto mechanics:
1. You're in for many hours of fun, and with any luck, a glorious first drive in the spring.
2. Read this forum every day, after reading the entire "new visitors" section and viewing a sampling of Dwayne's tutorials.
3. Some frequent contributors are guru-like, such as Mrmerlin who has already chimed in. Learn who they are. Some, like me, can only contribute by providing a more innocent perspective that makes everyone else - probably you, I'm judging - look smart in comparison.
4. You don't sound afraid! But make sure you generate the aforementioned luck through diligence and caution.
5. You've dodged a bullet by immediately posting photos, but you're going to get hammered over the lack of a certain something, a particular eccentricity of the group ...
Welcome to the 928 world. You've stumbled upon a pretty useful place for obtaining information and offering motivational support.
If you haven't already, get after those rubber fuel Iines under the hood. Especially, the two that run up along the passenger side exhaust manifold.
Good luck, with your project.

Boy, that heated indoor storeage is the way to go. We were at Rob Budds place yesterday and seeing how some cars spend the winter months is pretty special. I'm just glad my two cars weren't along too see such luxuries...they'd have kick me to the curb.
i currently also own a 2000 ..bmw 323i, had a 2001 land rover disco ( until oil pump failure on the freeway), had a 1989 range rover project (sold it) and have the typical chevy silverado lol... not afraid to tackle a job.
i ordered the fuel pump, filter, strainer, fuel injector seals, gonna clean the fuel injectors and replace all the fuel line shortly after.
the next project which i know will take a minute is the interior ( i have automotive upholstery experience)
I believe we pay $900/mo for 2,000 ft/2 (or maybe it's 2500 ft/2)/ We can fit 12 cars in there using 2 stacker lifts. We've been looking for a building to buy, but the prices are going through the roof here in the Detroit Metro area. And if you do find one, it ALWAYS needs a roof.

Brian.
The 10-11 is only what we have at the Shark Tank currently. Add in Dave's 4 cars, my other one, Budd's. and other peoples and we probably have over 20 locally.
