Default Help Identify this part

Working engine bay issues.
I think this is an electrical filter or suppressor. It crumbled in my hands along with the plastic snap holder that it sits in.
Having trouble locating in WSM or parts diagrams?

thnx

Merry Christmas

That barrel connector is only available as part of the wiring harness that goes from there down to the steering knuckle. Be VERY careful with the three small plug connectors that plug in to that barrel connector. They aren't available separately.

Can I just hard wire it through? Or, is there a measured resistance that will be thrown off.
