Small puddle but I know there's more getting in because the hatch window is always drenched
It is very common that water leaks through the rear side window seals. The bottom of the seal collects water where it can cause rust damage to the body, eventually a hole will develop letting water through from the outside to the inside.

A new user was posting suspicious image links. Not a bot, so who knows what that link went to.

Note that removing all of the seats and carpet..and putting them in your house to dry out would be superior..and let the humidifier dry out out the chassis.

And peeled off window tint looks EXACTLY like that..

If the inspection makes the car seem like a keeper, get the coolant fully drained and refresh as a priority. You have to undo two drains either side of the block, under the exhaust manifolds to get all the coolant out, as well as the obvious radiator drain plug.

Thank you. I pulled the rear seat cushions out yesterday and started disinfecting them. I Also, put the dehumidifier in the car. I'm going to locate the thread for removing the carpets today so I can remove them tomorrow. I'll post a pic once I have everything out.

When a man has an attitude such as this there is no hope he is one of us.

I was interested in one but it had mileage upward of 200k. I dont drive much so in a 4 yr period I'd likely only put 45k miles on it. After doing more searches, the 928 popped up and it had over 100k less miles on it than the 944. I ended up going with the 928. I did do some searches and read around a bit but what I found was 928 owners debunking myths about the vehicle being overly complicated and expensive to service etc. Also there was an overall consensus that they're great cars and owners really love them so I felt I'd found a bargain.
If your goal was a small inexpensive car to run around town.....the 928 is a massive fail. And anyone who says they are NOT expensive to service is either in denial or a fool. But what do I know ?? I just sold millions of dollars of 928 replacement parts over the years to thousands of customers and listened to their stories.....
Most on this forum have the 928 as a hobby and many ENJOY working on them as a hobby. Those who pay someone else to fix them quickly learn that the 928 is an EXPENSIVE and complicated car....
Go back and read Speedtoys post a few more times and add up how much money the former owner spent on his car.....that is reality .
