So do I.
I eliminated the ever failing fan amplifier to a DC Control unit. Already have a Pklamp, and am going to install a PKtensioner on the next change over.
Works for me.

Nice work on your V12 project dinsdale!
I must confess as I also repurposed some Toyota parts in my 928.
The license plate light lenses are from a '82 Celica.
'92 VW Passat blower motor.
The air tube to the alternator is shop vac hose.

Dear Mister Piranha,

There is an oversight in your list of non-OEM parts...
You should have listed AMAZING SKILL and UNBELIEVABLE CREATIVITY as #1 and #2.
I love reading your threads.
Thanks.

What size are the VW rotors? I have front rotors on my car from a Cayenne, I'm wondering if the VW rotors are the same size (and half the price)?

I drove this conversion project. Started as a '79 5 spd, somebody supercharged and seized the engine, car. So my buddy Brian got it for chump $, pulled it all apart and dropped in the LT1.

The engine is good. Powerful, really revs up and is light too. Super fun to drive it. The big problem (and what has been a study in modern automotive engineering) is NVH. The thing is horrible for vibration etc. So can that be all ironed out, or you may drive yourself nuts trying to?

This is Brian's shop-sponsored race car project, and for that it's perfect.

I would like to see more electric conversions. There was a guy on the Island here that did one I think.

These are all fascinating choices and mods.
It brings to mind a question I've had quite a while... is there an
agreed-upon definition of an "Outlaw" Porsche 928 ?
I see that phrase "Outlaw _______" often used for other modded Porsche models...

Thanks.
