makes them VERY hard to read at night....due to the marginal illumination of the old cluster. North Hollywood speedometer in Ca. I believe has options including changing the max MPH.

Adding the specs of your car in your signature would help folks help you. From another thread, I believe you have an '84. Auto?

I have white (or silver?) gauge faces but would like to swap them back to a more stock configuration. Mine is an 86.5 Automatic, however.

What does your speedo read up to?

Some white faces can be pretty legible at night

Get it. I had it in my 87 long time ago and I love it. I wish they made it for the later models as well. I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

180 MPH. I will take a good picture and post it.

Edit: Picture attached. The gauges are actually a light metallic silver which the camera flash does not show well. From a distance it looks like a light gray white. On my 86.5 with updated LED illumination, they light up very nicely at night. I believe the LED's have been going out over time though - it's been a while since I've driven at night. (And, yes, I know I need to clean the black gauge surround - it bugs me every time I see it, and more so in pictures!!!)
