How do I post photos in a new thread?

Been here for 13 years and never posted a pic. Searched everywhere and cant find instructions either. I know there is a magical way to do it so can someone please help an old (not very computer-literate) guy out?

Press 'Manage Attachments' button. Then 'Choose File'. Then the 'Upload' button. Then can 'Preview Post' before submitting it.
