ok vacuum lines are not right
ok where do i connect a certain vacuum hose to manifold vacuum. and you said i can disconnect vacuum lines and it should work without them do i need to cover vacuum ports or just leave them.
temp sensor 2 what color wires does it have cause there is 2 sensors next to eachother

if i plug the vacuum lines should it start?
is there any way i can get pictures up close next to the other sensors of what each one is. i know the temperature timing switch is on the front, so the two on top one has greenish wires and the other i think brown and maybe yellow wires. which one is the temp 2 sensor? and if anybody has 1980 wiring diagram for the temerature time switch i want to know which wires are which so i can make sure i reconnect them at?

Electrical gadgets on the '80 engine:
Thermoswitch for cold start valve: brown/yellow on termina W; two yellow on terminal G.
Cold start valve: the brown/yellow and one of the yellows from the switch.
Supplemental air valve: red/white; brown. (All brown wires are grounds.)
Coolant temp sensor for injection: yellow; brown.
Coolant temp sensor for gauge: blue/yellow on terminal G; blue/green on terminal W.
Oil level switch (Front of oil pan): green/blue.
Oil pressure sender: blue/white on terminal G; blue/black on terminal Wk.

ok really frustrating
fuel is still coming into the intake system i dont know why? ive read and replaced what has been suggested so what i should replace next? had my battery and starter tested today both passed 100% temp 2 sensor replaced, temp timing switch resistance .35 cold .70 hot, coolant sensor replaced, vacuum lines replaced, vacuum limiter cleaned?,

This is a fussy old car that has been mouse food, its is very likely you don't have one problem, you have dozens, and some form of luck allowed it to start and run once.
If a fuel pressure regulator has a leaking diaphragm fuel goes in the vacuum line to the throttle. Pull a line off the fuel pressure regulator and smell the hose, smells like gas means you need to replace the regulator.
Keep the troubleshooting simple, fuel, spark, compression. Fuel doesn't just mean is there fuel, you need the right amount, too much won't fire.

Your engine has a ninth injector the cold start injector it is SUPPOSED to spray for only a few seconds and not fire if the engine is hot...perhaps it is spraying ALL THE TIME ???? shooting fuel into the intake ports....

nothing is redundant
I must retrace my steps. every step is checking things twice I'm gonna find out which part is notty or nice. yesterday I pulled off all the vacuum lines but I thing they all had a whiff of gas from them even the ones not on the regulator side. where do I find my ninth injector? checked fuel pump relay not sure which one is the injection relay. is it on the panel with the fuel pump relay?
