HI guys again, on my 88 L.H.D. when doors are opened relay IV ignition relay x goes into a frenzy clicking E.T.C. . wot is the relay for cheers .

On an '88 relay IV is the X-Bus relay (X relay) this should not be active without the key.
It is a standard '53 (Bosch SPST) relay swap it with the horn relay XII and see if it works for the horn and/or if this solves this issue

For those following along and for potdog, go to 928gt.com and find your MY relay chart. You may want to print it out and put it in your car for some future reference on a dark night in some rural area.
Or be sure to check the towhook is lubed, etc.
Not predicting anything about our cars, just seems like something you ought to have. It should be present in a sleeve on the relay kickplate, but sometimes isn't.
