If my engine was as pretty as yours I'd probably keep it in the living room so I could constantly look at it....!

I kept mine in the living room over the winter during my rebuild. Everyone thought I was was nuts, except my wife. It was her idea

At least she knew right where you were when you were 'playing'.


At the same time, I 'splained to the architect and interior designer that the workshop is my living room, and to treat it as such as surfaces and finishes were chosen. I chose the materials, she chose the colors and patterns. Working in the 'living room' has some advantages. Not likely I'd have an engine on a stand in hers though.
