Rob's right on originality - looks good, even the driver's seat looks in great shape for the mileage, and despite the aftermarket stereo, none of the door or quarter panels appear to have been hacked up, so some used 89-95 speakers will drop in and restore originality along with a stereo (and possibly a harness).

At 139k miles, there's not much premium in this car for low-mileage, but as shown by Rob's celanup of the cobalt GT, mileage isn't a huge hindrance to these cars

'91 GT is still pretty rare.. here's the 91-95 manual 928's delivered to North America by year:

USA 1991 145
USA 1993 93 (includes 43 "early-93" models which are actually produced in MY92)
USA 1994 40
USA 1995 30

Here's an interesting question for the US 928-value afficionado's..

If you replaced the roof panel and headliner with the correct parts, and removed the sunroof, on this car, would it hurt the value? Or given the potential market of tall buyers, might the value without sunroof actually increase?

Here's why... the count of sunroof-less USA-delivery cars with digital dash:

1989 5
1990 1
1994 1

At this point, for 100% street use I wouldn't cut the sunroof out of a 5-speed GT or GTS, I'm 6'3" and while the extra headroom would be nice to not bonk my head when I'm out jumping train tracks, I think it would be more detrimental to the value than the bump in potential tall buyers. Not to mention the couple grand sunk cost in paintwork and glass to do it right...

Chuck Z: IF I can convince my baby mama to let me buy the 3rd 928 in 6 months, I would have had spent the money to purchase all kinds of reports to check the legitimacy of this car

I really like this car, though. My wife would force me to sell the '89 or '78 in order to get this one.....

Anyone want an '89 or '78?

Looks like the GT sold on eBay.
I wonder if a RennLister picked it up.
