so i have been doing a few items recently.....

i replaced the passenger steering rack boot...nice to see a nice dry oil pan and steering rack (rebuilt the rack a few months back and did the MM opg early this year.

finally installed the flush center console double DIN kit from bigAl..

while at it i got the spare tire cover from jerryfeather.

i installed the glove box door insert from budd and covered the door with the black alcantara to match the dash.

Last week i installed larger injectors and the Porken chips, and new 02 sensor.

Just fixed the broken rubber mount for the airbox cover... what a pita....

while i was at all this i messed around with the radio. I ran out of funds with all the other items i just did, so i could not buy the double din yet.

I reinstalled the alpine cda9007 that the PO had installed.

Last fall i replaced all my speakers with memphis pro line speakers and bought one of the spare tire mount subwoofer/amp combo's. I installed a small memphis amp in place of the factory in the passenger trunk release cavity...

I was not happy at all with the sound. I finally this morning downloaded the manual and began tweaking the head unit and amps....

WOW...sounds great now.. WHAT A DIFFERENCE.....

so this afternoon i went for a nice long drive...
loaded up some nice mix of tunes.... and was in nervana....
