I replaced the passenger side vacuum servo (sourced from Roger) for the door lock and it unlocks when I unlock the driver's door but does not move enough to lock the passenger door when I lock the driver's door. Does anyone know if or how an adjustment can be made to get it to work both ways? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

I may have solved the problem--I took the door lock off (two allen head bolts) and sprayed the innards with PB Blaster lubricant, wiped it off, reinstalled it and now it both locks and unlocks from driver's door.

Yep, pages 57-7 to -14 of the WSM. Good timing, I'm playing with these on William's '78. Here are the pages:

Thanks: I had read in the WSM "adjust position of vacuum switch in horizontal slots inside door panel" in the past, it must address an incorrectly installed vacuum switch because I could never see or determine an ability to "adjust" the vacuum switch position anywhere and there are no illustrations of what they are talking about. It's akin to someone saying "remove and rebuild engine without any further guidance." Maybe it is a translation problem or I have had a mental block on this for years.
I don't envy you and your friend having to work in the door on the locking mechanism.

Ah- little more digging reveals two back-to-back TSBs, the first 8 pages from August '78 RE: the vacuum operated locks, and the last 9 pages from May '83 RE: electric locks from 80-83. Here are THOSE pages.
Hopefully this provides a little more detail, usually the TSBs are more specific than the WSM.
