A Porsche Certificate of Authenticity purporting to be a "1991 928 GTS Coupe".
The car (on EBay) is a nice GT in every respect, wonder how PCNA came up with this certificate?

Yeah, saw that too when I saw this '91 GT being on sale on ebay this week. Anyone here on Rennlist interested in this car? Alot of miles were put on it during the past 5 years, ~35,000 miles in last 2 years.

We're probably going to need a way to certify the authenticity of Certificates of Authenticity. Exclusive paper with coded threads in it, distinctive watermark in some refractive dye, something. I could save at least $100 making my own, very easy since I have the original window sticker.

IIRC, back in the early 80's they improperly identified #6 in a letter as being the 16th or 17th car built, forgetting about having reserved the 1st 10 vin numbers. They changed their minds later.

the engine and transmission are correct type for a GT.
the GTS uses the M28/49 and G28/57 (non-Roger box)
