Default Engine mountings done.

Wasn't looking forward to doing the mounts but it was obvious that the mounts had collapsed, I had a horrible vibration and the rest of the collapsed mount signs. I got the mountings from Roger, the Volvo ones and used the Pirtle/Dwayne write ups, I used wooden blocks to suspend the engine the way Andrew Olson did.

I had the car on 6 ton jack stands, the job went more or less the way Dwayne did it, I did it on my own and at times was a struggle this was partly due to me being well past retirement age and not having four hands. It took me 13 hours spread over two days, some of that was cleaning and figuring out stuff, like Dwayne I disconnected the LCA's from the shock absorbers, my tow hooks were all bent up so I removed them and hammered them straight. When I released the weight of the engine it sat 5/8" higher than before, the pan is now higher than the crossmember.

Now has it made a difference? Oh yes, I could tell with in a few hundred yards, the vibration had gone, smooth up the rev range.

Thanks to all who posted about MM's if you posted I probably read it before I started.

This work along with adjusting the low ride height as transformed this car.
