I am replacing the three pod illumination bulbs with 3 LEDs and have come across a peculiar issue. The LED on the far left will not illuminate. I swapped with the others and the left will not go on. After a bit of head scratching I put the incandescent one back in and it lit.

The left bulb is farthest from the connector that supplies the voltage.

Coincidence?

 

wrong polarity is my guess.

 

Doh! Now all three work!
