Well, I bought it. yes, I overpaid, and yep, it is a project and oh yeah, I am probably in over my head....
Thought I would show her off by flatbedding it through Des Moines on its way to it's new home. A one car float parade "Waving to the crowd!".
So now, I own a 90 S4 and 90 GT. WTF is wrong with me?!

Damn you Craigslist..... damn you!!

Believe it or not, it seems to have good bones. It needs restoration.

I knew someone was going to end up with it! I'm glad you got it. Hopefully you can turn that sucker around. If you got it for $8,700 (Is that right?) you'll be just fine in just about any case. Nothing but the best and good luck! I bet Don was just glad to get rid of it.

Hey thanks! And thanks again for sending me that info the other week. You are right, Don was happy to finally be selling it. Also met his wife; and she was even more happy to finally get the garage space back for her car. They seemed like really nice people.

I am so excited about investigating that engine noise finally. You were the first to hear it!!

Good luck! Hope it turns out as nicely as the Mark Anderson car that Rob Edwards revived ...

You're very welcome! I was happy to help. I'm so thankful it ended up in someone's hands who is willing to do the work and spend the money to get it right. That car doesn't realize how lucky it is! If you ever need anything I'm not too far away.
