moveable instrument pod?

just curious ... was happy to see my Infiniti G37 coupe has this. reminded me of my 928's.

An air conditioned glove box.

It works great for keeping drinks cool during long drives.

my question was, "was the 928 the 1st car with an instrument pod that moved with the steering wheel?"

hay guise, did younz know the 928 was teh first production Porsche what has a V8 engine? 😃
