Rear Seat Rattle
#16
I already buttoned up the carpet with Super 77 a few days ago. Best I could have done was bang on them and show you how quiet they are. Once I realized that the only way to access the mechanism is to remove the leather and cushion from the seats, I decided to try this on a whim. Luckily, it worked like a charm!
I'll post pics once the skirts are on and painted/wrapped. It's going to look pretty unique. Definitely one-of-a-kind with the color and everything. Hopefully comes across tasteful and not boy-racer wannabee. We'll see! I'll make a post detailing the difficulties my fiberglass guy went through to get them to fit correctly. They were a HUGE ordeal... I don't recommend it to anyone without 4 figures to blow on appearance mods (luckily it didn't cost me that much, but it could have if my installer wasn't a great guy).

Easy solution that seems to be working initially... MUCH less rattles over uneven surfaces. I pulled back the seat carpet and used zip ties to fill the loose fit/gap between the lever bar and linkage that was causing the rattle. No change in ability to articulate the seat up or down via side lever. I'd call this a success.
How did you pull it off? it would be nice to know where exactly you find this hole so you save me to remove the whole thing hehe
