Default Tach Not Working

Hi All,

Is there a way to apply 12V to the tach to see if it works? The car isn't back together yet but it wasn't working when I bought it. Best place to start looking if the 12V applied swings the needle??

Cheers.

I believe you should apply a pulsed signal to drive the tach.
