Is it me, or does it seem like there are plenty of bargains out there right now?

Is it an "end of summer" perception?

Was just doing my usual "scouring" of the marketplace, and it seems like there are more popping up at what seems to be really good starting point prices.
(see the "velvet" thread).

Even in in the rennlist classifieds I see decent examples at fair prices. Ah, If only I was a filthy rich man.

 

I would guess it's seasonal. People who don't want to put it away, or people who don't have storage. Plus the people who have had them for sale all summer long, and want to get rid of it before winter.

Any "summer toy" is going to be discounted this time of year. Sports cars, boats, motorcycles.
Best time of the year to buy.

 

So much for the "skyrocketing values" we keep reading about. . .
