Belt coatings, or pulley coatings? Are you having issues with slippage?

You shoudln't need any kind of coatings. It's about having proper tension, pulleys, and alignment.

Slippage also depends on the degree of pulley wrap by the drive belt, and depending on the type of compressor, the ratio of the sc pulley diameter to the crank pulley diameter..

Large diameter idler pulleys also help keep the belt temperature down and reduce friction in the system.
