Im writing this on behalf of my owner. Im a 1990 928S4 who lives in New York City. Linen on linen, and still pretty good looking considering my age. But sadly, something was wrong, mechanically I mean. I had lost my mojo and did not know why. I could tell by the way we drove - timid, afraid to go fast for fear something would break, and worst of all, allowing rice burners to blow by on the freeway very embarrassing. Not to brag, but 20 years ago, nobody fooled with me, and nobody could touch me. But hey, things change, age can be a terrible thing. So me and the boss talk it over, and then off we go to Merlin the Wizard in Philly, exactly 99 miles from NYC. And that is where I got my mojo back. I knew it instantly the day we left the Wizard. I totally smoked it all the way home .no muss, no fuss, just pure smooth speed...just like the old days. I am back baby. God bless the Wizard.
Ahh the Linen/Linen machine,
she was kept in a nice clean protected environment, but age has made her soft,
SO with a fresh set of Boge shocks new MMs and trans mounts and OPG ,
a driveshaft inspection , end play check .008in. and new aluminum belly pan.
plus an AC recharge ,
she rides comfortably cool with surefooted speed and composure.
I really enjoyed driving this around.
