Noob Intro. Any 928 owners in DesMoines?
Hey everyone. I bought my 928 last year and have been lurking here ever since. I am a new PCA member of the Schonesland club in Des moines Iowa.
My car: 1990 Porsche 928 S4 Auto. Stock and fairly well sorted (thanks to most of you). I am still working out an AC issue as well as a slow battery drain; but that is about it right now.
I bought the car in Pennsylvania originally. I was living in York PA at the time and picked it up in Pittsburgh from the second owner. It had some deferred maintenance, so went and got the TB/WP done. Also got a new TB tensioner at the time. Had the flex plate TBF service done as well, but have not bought a final preventive maintenance solution for that yet. Recently had all fluids replaced including service on the PSD.
Anyway, I just moved to Des moines for my job; and am wondering if there are any other 928 owners in the area? I work most weekends, so haven't linked up with Schonesland members yet. I went to one "Cars and Coffee" meet on a rainy day, and it was sparse at best.
I heard that there was a beat up GT in the Des moines area, but I haven't found it yet.

Was living in Glenwood, Iowa when I owned a 1990 S4 Auto 8 years ago. Now I moved across the river to Omaha, Nebraska and own a 1989 S4 Auto. Went and looked at that beat up GT you mentioned.
