Starting issues
I have an 83 that I bought a couple months back, that I'm having starting issues with.
At first it would crank, but not start when it was cold out. If the sun was beating on it, it started just fine.
So I took it to the only mechanic that would even agree to work on a Porsche in my podunk town, and he replaced the thermo switch and cold start injector. It seemed to fix the problem for a few days, but my battery kept dying after I got it back.
I was able to solve the battery issue which is unrelated (the rear hatch wasn't making contact when closed), but now the car won't start at all.
It cranks, but will not start no matter the conditions. I replaced the fuel injector relay, but that didn't fix it. I now have a fuel pump relay on the way.
Any ideas? I'm not confident in the abilities of my mechanic.
That eliminates the fuel pump, right?
