I have hit a dead end trying to source a new windshield for the 928, in Canada. None of the autoglass installers have been able to find a source.
Can anyone point me to a source for this windshield that Canadian installers can access?
I do not require the OEM antenna for my car.

Porsche only has antenna-in-glass windshields. Whether you order '87-88 with antenna, or 89+ with no antenna, you get the antenna.
Chinese windshields are readily available, some good and some not-so-good. Sigla (OEM brand) is distributed by Pilkington, but supplies are scarce at this time. Roger has Sigla windshields in stock, but won't ship due to breakage/packaging concerns. Our solution was to drive to Anaheim.

Pedro at speedy Gonzales auto glass Can hook you up, he did one for me 2 years ago. It was $300.
Edit, sorry I see you are out west. Good luck. But maybe he can help you connect your installer to his source. Just google him.

I wouldn't mind having one w/ antenna for my '85, current one is original w/ years of road rash, small (fixed) chip.
The newly acquired 86.5 has a new replacement (w/o) antenna
but the clarity is huge difference w/ a new windshield.
Thanks for pricing info,
Dave

Go to Rock Auto, don't look up years with antenna in glass, they are out of stock, and I've never seen them in stock.
They'll ship it to you, take care of import taxes etc, you'll know the amount in Cdn before you check out. And get someone to install it, I've never had a problem getting a glass guy to install new glass.
Right now they have some green tint ones for less than $150.
Alternatively give your glass guy the link.
