What to do with old radiator?
I put new plastic tanks on my OEM radiator in 2013, and one small spot in the metal frame developed a leak last year. I'm guessing it happened when the shop bent it open and then closed to put on the tanks. They showed me the problem, a crack about a half-inch long in the metal frame that was big enough to drop quite a bit of coolant. The radiator worked fine before that and the core is otherwise in good condition.
Always reluctant to chuck any 928 stuff into a landfill, I'm pondering what to do with the radiator. Someone might want the two new end tanks, possibly the AT-cooler inside the right tank, maybe even the whole thing if they could fix the crack and use it again. I'm running one of Mark Anderson's nifty Indonesian jobs now so don't plan to spend any time monkeying with the old one, but I set it aside and really ought to do something to do with it.
Suggestions?
