Default Anyone interested in a clock swap?

I have a digital clock in my center console and prefer the look of the later analog clock. If anyone out there has an analog and would prefer a digital, please let me know and we can do a swap, thanks.

You'd get a lot of responses, if the swap was the other way...

I had to do it the old fashion way, ie I bought an analog clock. I dislike the digital so much I will give it to anyone who wants it........

VDO makes a variety of handsome quartz analogue clocks, some of which would look pretty fair in the 928. The bezel in the console would be a DIY however.

Do all digital clocks read out in military time? Is there anyway to change it?

The change to 12 hour readout is quite straight forward. It requires severing one circuit path on the PC board and bridging another. I thought the instructions were on the Nichols site but it's on the 928 OwnersClub site here. near the bottom of the page "Clock Mode Setting".

Thanks for the reply, but I am looking for a rectangular analog clock that I think was on the later cars (90-95 MY). Looks like I will have to do what Gretch did and buy a replacement. Just thought I would give it a shot ...

What you call "military time" is the time format used in most of the world, exept the US and some (former) British colonies. Since the Brits are switching from Imperial to Metric, I've been wondering, if they switch to the 24-hour time format as well. Any Brits here?

I hear these clocks are sometimes on back order. Not sure, if they are available these days. There is another option, though:

Look for "Circular Clock Update Kit".
