The Bosch Hammer has a setting to count "knock events" and tell you how many times it happens. Spirited driving generates a LOT of knock events, so a warning light would probably be flickering constantly.

Remember how this puppy works - you set the timing so that you would normally get knocking. When the sensors pick up the characteristic vibration pattern of knocking, the system quickly retards the timing until it goes away, then immediately lets the timing advance until you get incipent knock again.

In other words, the system runs right on the borderline, with slight knocking a LOT of the time. That would seem to make a knock warning light pretty useless. Sorry...
